Mountain Transit’s new Free Big Bear Trolley service is here! Three convenient routes (Red, Blue, Gold) take riders to most of the visitor attractions and amenities in Big Bear, including the ski resorts, Boulder Bay, The Village, Supermarkets, and the Airport. For the first time, public transit will serve the Big Bear Airport on a scheduled route. This transportation service will offer convenient and reliable transportation for both locals and visitors and help eliminate traffic congestion and car pollution in the Valley. “If you are coming to enjoy the village or the lake, you can't really beat this location. It is dog friendly which is a huge plus, with that said our room did have a dog smell when we walked in. The owners could use some carpet deodorizer and open the windows to help with that. Besides that we thought it was a great value. In the Spring it's actually hot in the room so we opened the windows and used the provided high-power fan. Definitely recommend.”

“We stayed during the winter storm and got a ton of snow, but the cabin was clean, cozy, dog friendly, and in the best location—right in Big Bear Village with food and shops just steps away. The internet went out due to the storm, but that’s expected and didn’t affect our stay. Really enjoyed the place and would absolutely stay again. Highly recommend!”

“When we walked in there was an unpleasant odor we figured it’s because it’s a pet friendly apartment. In some spots it was so bad. When we pulled out the bed in the living room I noticed a few dead cockroaches under the bed. It was also hot in the bedroom we turned on the fan that was in the room but it was so loud it was impossible to get some sleep. I gave it two stars because of the location it was perfect. The easy check in and out and communication was good with the host. I did contemplate driving home after seeing the dead roaches not gonna lie but I didn’t want to ruin the trip for my boys as it was a last trip before they go back to school.”
