You'll have the entire home to yourself, including the three-car garage, all decks, and every living space. Check-in starts at 4 PM. Checking in: IDs are required at check-in. You must be 24 years or older to book and check in. You'll need to sign a Rental Agreement with the Big Bear Good Neighbor Policy (about 5 minutes). The link is sent once your booking is confirmed and needs to be completed before check-in. Just a quick heads-up: to finalize your reservation, we kindly ask that you complete our short rental agreement within 24 hours of booking. It only takes a few minutes and helps make sure everything runs smoothly for your trip. Please also note that the cancellation policy begins the moment your booking is confirmed, not when the agreement is signed. A private access code will be sent to you before arrival for a smooth, contactless check-in. Early Check-In and Late Check-Out: Available for a fee, based on availability. Three convenient routes (Red, Blue, Gold) take riders to most of the visitor attractions and amenities in Big Bear, including the ski resorts, Boulder Bay, The Village, Supermarkets, and the Airport. For the first time, public transit will serve the Big Bear Airport on a scheduled route. This transportation service will offer convenient and reliable transportation for both locals and visitors and help eliminate traffic congestion and car pollution in the Valley. The maximum for guests and adults CAN NOT be exceeded at any given time. * Parking Details: Max of 3 cars on-site. (Does have garage access for other 3 cars) *Quiet hours (10pm-7am). *No speakers or sound systems allowed. *No parties or events allowed at any given time. * Indoor sound cannot be loud enough to be audible at the property line. * Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $1,000 per violation. * This home is pet friendly! (Maximum: 2 pets) Pets MUST be pre-approved in advance. A pet fee of $225 per pet will apply IF the pet(s) has been approved. Pet fee is requested after the booking is confirmed. * If undisclosed pets are brought into the home without SoCal Vacations' approval: There is a fine of $500 per pet. Pet Rules: - Do not leave pets unattended in the home unless kenneled. - Do not let pets on any furniture or beds. - Pick up after your pet. - You will be responsible and charged for any damages caused by pets. * This is a smoke-free property (No smoking or vaping inside or outside, video monitoring enforcement.) Violation of the no-smoking policy will result in forfeiture of the security deposit, a $950 smoking fee, and liability for any fire or property damage costs. It is prohibited by law that any kind of open fire whatsoever. “While the space was large and great for accommodating our 15 guests, I was very disappointed to find the home wasn’t properly cleaned before our arrival. Dust covered the tabletops, spiderwebs hung from the ceiling, bits of trash and food were left behind on the floor, used bedding was left in a walk-in closet, a dirty sock by the foot of a bed, and worst of all a broken fingernail and blood stains left on the carpet. It was so gross. We cleaned up these things ourselves as it was late when all our guests arrived and the next morning I reached out to the host who insisted it was “thoroughly” cleaned the day before our arrival. On top of that, the dishwasher didn’t work, the firepit ran out of propane after 1 short use, the bedroom fireplaces didn’t work, and one of the microwaves wasn’t set up so it didn’t work either. These things would have bothered me less if the home had actually been clean. I did have to get airbnb involved because the host really minimized the issue.”
“Our group of 15 enjoyed our stay in this home! There was ample space for all of us to spread out, as well as enough beds, and bathrooms, and private rooms to accommodate our needs. We served several large meals during our visit, and the kitchen appliances and counter space were ample. We loved the view of the lake and watching the spectacular sunsets every evening. There are large windows along the south and west of the home that let in beautiful light and views, but that also get bright sun (in summer) in the late afternoon. We appreciated the heavy curtains and window treatments that allowed us to block this light and heat for a few hours every day. Our group loved the movie theater and pool table. It was nice to have garage and driveway parking. One suggestion we would make is to add a larger main floor dining table to seat larger groups. It would also be nice to have a few more tables and chairs out on the deck as well. Overall, a wonderful stay, and we hope to return.”
